Choose options
Dr. Len Green, OAM is well known in the community for his writings and the books of light verse he's published in aid of charity. Being Jewish, some of his verse is of similar persuasion, so he decided to do a book on Jewish themes.
Read it and learn more than you might already know about festivals such as Pesach, Succot, Purim etc. as well as other matters of lasting interest such as the Rabbi's dog, bigotry, chicken soup and more.
This book is not for profit and proceeds will be in support of the Sydney Jewish Museum. Thus your purchase would be regarded as a mitzvah, particularly if you don't like poetry.
The late Max Harris wrote: / sense there is a poet, a well equipped poet, buried beneath the jongleur.
Green has won many prizes including a first awarded by the Henry Lawson Society of NSW.
His poem in support of deaf and blind children in bronze letters and Braille is attached to the Queen Victoria Wishing Well adjacent to the Sydney Town Hall.
