This book tells an amazing story of courage, conviction and intrigue during World War II. 

Arthur Spindler is a Polish Jew who against incredible odds manages to survive both German occupation and anti-Semitism amongst the location, only to end up after the war in a prison camp in Russia. 

How Arthur triumphs by assuming a Polish identity, working as a wheat controller for the Germans and at the same time becoming an officer in the Polish underground army, is a story to be read and experienced.  Very special photographs of Arthur’s family complement and enhance the text.  This is a fascinating and exciting story as told by Arthur Spindler himself.
