“My poetry reflects the millieu of my childhood, my years as a commercial traveller and snapshots of Soweto and Baragwanath Hospital. 

It is written in a staccato style and reinforces for me the poverty, sadness and despair that is the lot of most of the inhabitants of Soweto.
